Today, we went on a walk to the post office in Kenninghall. We have been working on something special to send home and so we all went to buy a stamp from the shop and then post it in the post box outside.

Otter class walked sensibly and safely to and from the shop and were excellent representatives for the school as they had beautiful manners when speaking to the shop assistant.

When we returned to school, we watched a video all about the journey of a letter to understand what would happen to our envelopes once they had gone into the post box. In the afternoon, children enjoyed writing cards, sticking stamps on envelopes and delivering letters around the classroom.
