A great bedtime routine!
In our PSHE lessons this Half Term we are focusing on keeping ourselves and our bodies healthy. One way in which we can do this is to make sure we are getting enough, and good, sleep. Today we had a wonderful time exploring why we need good sleep and different calm activities we could do at home to help us to achieve this.
We started off by getting comfy in our pyjamas and then completing a task where we had to decide which activities the wide awake sheep and the snoring sheep had done before they went to bed in order to get a better understanding of what keeps us awake and what helps us to get a good night's rest.
We then took part in lots of lovely calming activites such as meditation, building with mashmallows and drinking hot chocolate/ warm milk to calm us down ready for a restful evening.
We all really enjoyed this session!
