Competition

Through PE, we will be taking advantage of the house-team system by organising regular competition both in lessons and after school tournaments.

There will also be cluster tournaments and events throughout the year which will involve children representing their school. These tournaments are organised by the partnership School Sports Co-ordinator, Mrs Billinghurst and usually involve the sports leaders from Old Buckenham High School to lead and officiate activities.

The pathway of sport includes the PE curriculum, extracurricular sports clubs, intra-house competition, cluster school games competitions and teams/individuals qualifying representing in the South Norfolk School Games and Norfolk School Games events.

The overall curriculum plan is co-ordinated to link this pathway together each half term to enable the children to develop their skills, games experience and progress in competition should they wish.
