About Us
Opened in 1874, Kenninghall Primary School has been serving the community for 150 years!
The original Victorian building was extended in 2004 and consists of 4 classrooms, a school hall, a library/group teaching room, 2 offices, new toilets and a staffroom. Each of the classrooms is a stimulating learning environment and are well equipped with Projectors, interactive whiteboards and iPads.
Included within the attractive grounds is a playground, field and adventure play area.
At Kenninghall, outdoor education plays an important part in our children’s learning and we are a ‘Forest School’. We have developed our grounds to become an exceptional learning resource. We boast an outdoor amphitheatre, pond and nature area, vegetable beds, an outdoor oven and fire circle, an impressive polytunnel and extensive outdoor play area for our younger children.
The school is built on one level and has easy access for the disabled.
Minutes from Governors meetings are available on request from the school office.
